If this is funny, my father is a goat.

First off, my father is not a goat, therefore this is not funny. No plot, just a ridiculous, rather childish piece that bored the hell out of me. People on fire are not funny by themselves; there has to be something else happening too. Simplicity is not always the best policy, as it's so simple that it forgets to be funny. Well animated, though.

One of the best? Don't think so.

It was well animated, but the same half-dozen set of movements were just repeated in time with the song until the end. Also, I fail to see how an animation without any plot whatsoever can be ranked so highly on NG. Perhaps it has something to do with the word 'Clock'...

...all in all, it was good, but not worthy of its position right now.

Really enjoyed that!

Nice, clean animation, good lip-syncing and amused me. Can't ask for much more, really. Well done.

Fantastic...

Great animation, fluid throughout - to be honest, I didn't notice any of the sound effect 'flaws' or oversights, as I was too focused on what was some fantastic, smooth fight scenes. Also, the fool below me is indeed a fool; the colour scheme fitted in with the Matrix theme, whereas pink, red or blue just would not.

All in all, superbly done. Kudos.

Good animation, but...

...great animations have a sense of plot or story: instead, this comes across like an excuse to demonstrate your various Flash talents. However, a well-written and well-animated story would be far better. Still, the animation itself was good, even in some parts brilliant. I'd encourage you to make an animation with some form of plot, as you (and the others) obviously have the skills to do so.

Keep up the good work!

I actually enjoyed this!

Okay, so admittedly, there was very little animation involved, but I did laugh at a lot of the written captions, which were both amusing and, in many cases, accurate observations of stereotypes. Well done on the humour side, but it could do with a little more work on the animation side of things.

Also, ignore complete idiots like sanguisdex. I'm from Britain and I wasn't offended by any of it - in fact, I believe that with such broad stereotypes, you'd either have to be old or incredibly pedantic (and a bit of a prat) to find something like that offensive. Good work.

Sidorio responds:

I'm glad somebody's said that. I live in Britain too, and I was concerned at first that people from other countries would be offended that I let us off quite lightly compared to the other countries.

Just because it's Trek, doesn't make it good.

Basically, you've just used Star Trek as a vessel here for drug-related, profanity-spewing cheap shots, with little real humour in there. Also, what the hell is with the word 'fuck' at random intervals? Do your fingers have Tourettes, or are you just stunted in terms of your vocabulary?

The animation itself, humour aside, was below average. Half-decent, slightly lazy drawings, not much movement, etc. However, the voices were alright and well-synced. Just try and develop your humour to something that all users of this site, not just the fourteen-year-old Canadians, can enjoy and laugh at. Good luck.

Fantastic for a first attempt!

First off, ignore the last reviewer; it was not disturbing, it was merely rather surreal, and surreal scenarios are usually amusing (at least to me). Great animating style, solid voice acting, and a generally funny plot. Just needs a little work on the syncing (stress, a little: I know from experience just how hard it is).

Overall, that was surprisingly good; refreshing to see a newbie putting effort into a first animation! Well done, and I can't wait to see the next one you produce...

TerribleScene responds:

While I wasn't intentionally going for surreal, I'm glad you liked it, and look for a new movie soon (although it probably won't have much relation to this one, I have an idea in my mind I want to experiment with). Thanks again for reviewing! I really appreciate it!

Not the worst ever, just do something better...

You obviously have the skills to do a pretty super animation, just put a little more thought into your next one, and perhaps branch out from the whole Clock parody / ripoff. Otherwise, the animation itself wasn't really all that bad...

IZSBHR responds:

Yup.

I don't care if it's a parody, it's a lazy excuse

Well, in fairness, this was terrible. Just terrible. Did that take you a good 30, 35 minutes? The artwork was poor, and the spelling was absolutely atrocious. You would think a 9 year old was enlisted to write this thing out for you! If this was meant to be a parody of all other bad Naruto flashes, it was an awful one; the angle was just too shallow. Instead of coming off funny and appealing, it was just as bad as many other flashes that you were trying to parody, thus leaving your animation poorly lacking in humour.

All in all, try harder next time. Not all parodies are funny; this is good proof.

Infamy is never a good thing.
